Admission by donation.

Pride Exhibit Launch

The launch of the Pride exhibit pays homage to the original 1978 Pride flag and features community responses to prompts about pride, belonging, and connection. Visitors can also learn more about the history of the rainbow flag and local queer history throughout June.

Admission by donation.

Pride Paint & Sip Night

Celebrate Pride with a creative evening at the Strathcona County Museum & Archives. Led by local artist Andrea Krahn, this ticketed Pride-themed Paint Night invites participants to enjoy a relaxed, welcoming art activity in the museum after hours. No experience is needed — just come ready to paint, connect, and enjoy a fun evening in community.

A portion of Paint Night proceeds will be donated to AltView Foundation.

We acknowledge the traditional lands and territories of the Indigenous Peoples who have lived on these lands and taken care of them since time immemorial. We respectfully acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 territory, lands which are known as Amiskwaciy, Cree for “The Beaver Hills”. This region has been important for the Néhiyawak, Niitsitapi, Tsuut’ina, Anishinaabe, Nakota Sioux, and later the Métis. Many other tribes, including the Inuit, traveled and harvested on these lands. We acknowledge their collective stewardship. We are all Treaty People living together on these lands and we remain responsible to one another, the land, its resources, and to Treaty 6. We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation.
