Strathma is hosting pysanky Easter egg workshops led by artist and historian Lyrissa Sheptak.
Learn how to make beautiful pysanky Easter eggs in the traditional Ukrainian style.
All levels welcome, from those just beginning to explore to those wishing to learn advanced techniques. Materials will be provided.

about the artist

Historian and writer Lyrissa Sheptak learned the technique of writing pysanky from her mother. Lyrissa now shares her Ukrainian heritage by teaching the art form to others.
10:00 am – 12:30 pm,
and 1:30 – 4:00 pm
$20 per person
Ages 8 and up.
An adult must
accompany persons
under 12 years of age.
This is a not-for-profit event.
All proceeds go directly to the artist.
