The Acquisitions Committee will review potential donations based on three criteria:
1. The item supports the Strathcona County Museum & Archives mission
2. Strathcona County Museum & Archives can adequately care for, house, and potentially exhibit the item
After the item is accepted by the Acquisitions Committee, it is accessioned into the collection. Accessioning is a process by which the donated materials are added to the collection and become the property of Strathcona County Museum & Archives/ Strathcona County Heritage Foundation through a signed Deed of Gift.
Please note that Strathcona County Museum & Archives does not perform appraisals.
